ADVISER TO CPIC

CPIC.png

Chongqing Polycomp International Corporation (CPIC), the third-largest fiberglass producer in China sought an equity capital recapitalization to fuel its spectacular growth.   CPIC is a large enterprise integrating R&D, production and sales of fiberglass products.  CPIC mainly produces high-quality alkali-free fiberglass and glass fabrics. CPIC markets its products worldwide.

Grand Avenue Capital was engaged by CPIC and managed a confidential, world-wide search for an investor and ultimately four major international private equity groups made offers for the company.  The Carlyle Group, the successful bidder, led a $US 140 million private placement into CPIC.  Grand Avenue initiated this transaction, providing valuation and other financial advisory services to the board and shareholders of CPIC,  and negotiated the ultimate transaction between the parties.
