ADVISER TO FRUTECH
Grand Avenue Capital was engaged by the shareholders of Frutech International (Texas), the US subsidiary of Frutech which focused on the extraction of essential citrus oils. The shareholders elected to sell the division for estate planning purposes.
Companies in Israel, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Mexico, and the US were solicited. Ultimately, the Company was sold to industry leader, Florachem Holdings, a strong supplier of raw materials for the flavor/fragrance industry. Florachem at the time had a private equity investor, KLH Capital as a key shareholder.
Grand Avenue managed this transaction, providing valuation and other financial advisory services to the board of Frutech, managed the world-wide search for investors (including strategic and financial), and negotiated the ultimate transaction between the parties.
