Grand Avenue Capital was engaged by the shareholders of Human Designs Inc. and Ferraco Inc. to sell these healthcare service companies that provide prosthetics and orthotics services to the Southern California patient market.
Grand Avenue sought an equity partner to acquire the majority of the companies, thereby providing existing shareholders an opportunity to participate in further acquisitions in this highly fragmented market.
Discussions were held with a number of strategic and private equity investors throughout the USA. Ultimately, the Company consummated an investment transaction with a privately held, healthcare services company in California.
Grand Avenue Capital negotiated the transaction on behalf of the shareholders, coordinating tax, financial and legal support and analyses for the family owners.
